WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: 

• 3+ years recruitment experience in an agency and/or in-house work environment, ideally where technology and/or startup positions were the focus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven working experience as a Finance Manager 

• 7+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

• Advanced degree in Accounting (CPA or CMA preferred) 

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Experience with creating financial statements

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

The Finance Manager will be responsible for all accounting and financial reporting operations of the company. Duties will include managing accounting records, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information. Their strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency as a financial manager will aid AIR in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Planning and coordinating all accounting operational functions

• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary

• Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

• Prepare and/or co-ordinate internal and external financial statements, summaries, and other cost-benefit analyses and financial management reports

• Manage regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting

• Overseeing direct cash management activities and budget process 

• Coordinating year-end audit 

• Participation on filing year-end taxes, credits, GST/PST returns, and wage subsidies with team & partners, like Deloitte Invoicing & Co

• Attain comprehension of key financial results and movements across programs to summarize and discuss with key board members
